Tull players filmed these supporting videos for the upcoming World Wilderness
Congress (WWC): the longest-running, public international environmental
forum. It is a conservation project that creates coalitions, establishes
time-lines, sets objectives and achieves practical outcomes. Established
in 1977, it has convened on eight occasions in 30 years to review progress,
debate issues, announce results and celebrate the importance and vitality
of wild nature.
The WWC is sponsored by The Wild Foundation: the only international
organization dedicated entirely and explicitly to wilderness protection
around the world. WILD works to protect the planet’s last wild
places and the wildlife and people who depend upon them, because wilderness
areas provide essential social, spiritual, biological and economic benefits.
Tull supports their belief that intact wilderness areas are an essential
core element of a healthy modern society.
WILD brings people together from every part of the planet and every walk
of life, gathers their stories and information, and celebrates their
successes, provides them with tools and resources, and most importantly,
helps channel their energy, passion, and creativity into new and more
effective conservation.
