Paul
Burgess was born in Manchester in 1950 and started playing drums
in 1965, turning professional in 1971. Having played with a number
of Manchester's blues/rock bands, he was asked to join 10cc in
1973 as an auxiliary touring member. Following the departure of
Kevin Godley and Lol Creme in 1976, Paul subsequently recorded
with the band, playing on Deceptive Bends(77), Live & Let Live
(77), Bloody Tourists (78) Look, Hear (79) and Ten out of 10 (82).
In 1982, Paul toured
extensively in America, Canada & Europe with Jethro Tull
followed by his final tour with 10CC in 83.
