Will I get a response? Likely no unfortunately. Band members get a diluge
to fan email and while they do read each one, they can only respond to a select
few.
Increase your chances
Say something substantative and interesting. Avoid messages like "you rock and
are the greatest." Platitudes are appreciated, but not unusual. Same goes for
stories of meeting a band member ages ago, and concert remberances.
Imagine yourself
as a band member and if you want a better chance, write something that is likely
different and interesting to them.
